A hot lunch will be ready for you upon arrival at the lodge. The day is left for you at your leisure, dinner will be served as per your convenience. Breakfast, picnic lunch & dinner Serena Selous Luxury Camp | Selous River Camp

Day 6 Selous Game Reserve to Mikumi National Park :

This relatively small (3230 sq. km) National Park lies 300 km west of Dar es Salaam and is the closest park to the capital. It is nestled between the Uruguru Mountains to the East and the Rift Valley escarpments to the Southwest. Even though this is a small park, there is a border with the Selous Game Reserve, allowing movement of game and therefore Mikumi benefits from the highest game density of the entire conservation area, while still being easily accessible. Relax in the evening as you enter the lodge, your real safari begins tomorrow. Breakfast, picnic lunch & dinner Mikumi Wildlife Camp | Stanleys Kopje

Day 7 At Mikumi National Park :

Today we will have ample time for ourselves to have a good Full Day Game Drive at Mikumi National Park. Although less spectacular than some of the more illustrious Tanzanian National Parks, Mikumi still offers a good safari experience with typical flora and fauna of East Africa. There is a rich variety of bird species as well as large numbers of Giraffes, Buffaloes and Elephants and close to the waterholes you can spot the Lions, Leopards and Hippos. Breakfast, picnic lunch & dinner Mikumi Wildlife Camp | Stanleys Kopje

As we have to cover a long journey, we leave our lodge in Udzungwa early in the morning. But before we leave, we will enjoy an early morning trek. In 2008 the Usangu Game reserve merged its borders with Ruaha transforming it into Tanzania’s largest national park covering over 15,000 sq. km. This new park itself is at the heart of a much larger ecosystem covering over 40,000 sq. km. Rest, relax and rejuviante for the remaining of the evening at the lodge. Breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner Ruaha River Camp | Tandala Tented Camp

Day 9 At Ruaha National Park :

Wake up in the morning to the sounds of the surroundings in the massive national park in the south. The highlights of a trip to Ruaha is watching the elephant herds (the greatest concentration in Africa) gathered around the mighty Ruaha River; the lifeblood of the park. It is a good place for seeing Lion, Buffalo, Elephant and Painted Dog (African Wild Dog). Grants Gazelle, Ostrich and Cheetah may be seen on the plains as well. The park is one of the Tanzania birds’ paradise with more than 571 species and some of them are known to be migrants from within and outside Africa. In the afternoon, we leave for a visit to the nearby Masaai Village after our lunch at the lodge. According to our past experiences, guests who do a visit to these villages, always find it as an interesting and enriching experience for them. Breakfast, picnic lunch and dinner Ruaha River Camp | Tandala TentedCamp

Day 11 Ruaha National Park to Udzungwa Mountains National Park :

With a total area of 2,000 km² – Udzungwa Mountains National Park contains the greatest altitudinal range of forests in East Africa – the eastern escarpment is the only place in East Africa with unbroken forest cover from lowland forest communities at below 250 m above sea level, through intermediate types, to mountain communities at over 2,800 m. Because of such a wide range in altitude and habitat types, Udzungwa National Park has one of the highest numbers of species endemism worldwide. Take rest in the evening as you arrive the lodge, after the long days journey. Breakfast, picnic lunch & dinner Udzungwa Falls Lodge

Six species of primate are found here and two are endemic, the Iringa (Uhehe) Red Colobus monkey, and the Sanje Crested Mangabey, which was discovered in 1979. There is also a rich small bovid community including good numbers of Red, Blue and Abbots Duikers, and Bushbuck. Udzungwa also has the richest forest bird habitat in Tanzania. Several endemics have just been discovered recently (including a new species of Francolin and the Rufus-winged Sun Bird). Breakfast, picnic lunch & dinner Udzungwa Falls Lodge

Day 13 Udzungwa Mountains National Park to Saadani National Park :
