Day 1: Arrive Kilimanjaro Airport – Moshi

Arrival Kilimanjaro Airport where you will be met by your professional driver guides who to transfer you to Kilemakyaro in Moshi for overnight on Bed and Breakfast basis.


Day 2: Activities in Moshi

Then drive to Arusha Depart around 10:00 am and drive to The African Blackwood Conservation Project. The Project is centered at Moshi, in Kilimanjaro district, Tanzania. The African Blackwood Conservation Project was established in 1996 by James Harris, a woodworker from Texas, USA, and Sebastian Chuwa, a botanist from Tanzania. Its purpose is to replenish the population of the African blackwood or mpingo tree (botanical name: Dalbergia melanoxylon). You will visit the project for a minimum of 1 hour and maximum of 2 hours depending on what you want to learn about the project. After visiting the project you will drive to Arusha Karama Lodge for lunch ( lunch on your own account). Just above Karama Lodge’ is Suye Hill Forest Reserve – a protected area of indigenous forest, which at the moment is changing its status into Wildlife Management Area. In the afternoon you can take a walk to the top of Suye Hill through the forest reserve and further down to Kimandolu village. It takes about 35 – 40 minutes to get to the top of the hill and 20 minutes or so to come down in a medium pace. Many species of bird are seen in the early morning and small animals occasionally to be seen like: dik dik, squirrels, Guinea fowls, monkeys… overnight at Karama Lodge. ( Lunch and Dinner on your own account)


Day 3: Arusha – Tarangire

After breakfast depart to Tarangire National Park with packed lunch, the park is beautiful with a lot of baobab trees and elephants. Have full day game drive in the park, in the evening drive to Eco Science Lodge for dinner and overnight ( Full Board).


Day 4: Tarangire – Manyara – Lake Eyasi

After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara National Park with packed lunch for morning game drive. In the afternoon depart to Lake Eyasi for overnight at Tindiga Tented Camp ( Full Board).


Day 5: Lake Eyasi – Serengeti

Early morning (at 06:00am) you will visit the Hadza families accompanied by Milargo Hadzabe Health Project coordinator to experience Hadza culture and lifestyle which will give you a picture on why Hadza are vulnerable to sexual transmitted diseases among other diseases and other life challenges they face. The project coordinator will also get a chance to brief you about Milargo activities. Clients will get back to Tindiga Tented camp for breakfast then depart with packed lunch to Serengeti National Park, dinner and overnight at Katikati Tented Camp. ( Full Board)


Day 6: Serengeti National Park

Full day game drives in Serengeti National Park. All meals and overnight at Katikati Tented Camp


Day 7: Serengeti National Park

Another full day game drives in Serengeti National Park All meals and overnight at Katikati Tented Camp (Full Board).


Day 8: Serengeti – Ngorongoro

Have early breakfast then depart the camp with boxed lunch and drive to Ngorongoro, descend into the crater some 600 meters to experience the true spirit of Africa, the Africa of bygone days when you explore the crater as permanent home of wildlife population, long regarded as Africa’s “Garden of Eden”. From the comfort of your 4 x 4 vehicle crafted exclusively for game viewing will give an opportunity to spot Big five – Elephant, buffalo, leopard, black mane lion and the rare black rhinoceros- as well hyenas, jackals, flamingos and the yawning hippos. Enjoy a delightful picnic lunch in the heart of this ancient volcanic crater. In the evening drive to Ngorongoro Farm House Lodge for dinner and overnight.


Day 9: Ngorongoro – Kilimanjaro Airport

Depart Farm House after breakfast and drive to Arusha, have lunch at Shanga River House and then walk around the area and take a look on the project which is done by people with disabilities, then drive to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure Flight.
